Arbitration
A faster, more efficient path to a binding resolution.
What is Arbitration?
Arbitration is a process where parties present their dispute to an arbitrator, who makes a decision after hearing the evidence. One key advantage is that it's often faster than going to court, and the outcome is usually binding, providing a quicker resolution.
Proceedings can be more private than court hearings, and the arbitrator's role in the process is to listen objectively to the evidence and make inquiries of the witnesses. Arbitration is usually more efficient than a trial and most times less expensive.
Advantages of Arbitration
Faster Resolution
Often significantly quicker than waiting for a trial date in court.
Binding Outcome
Provides a definitive resolution that both parties must follow.
Private Proceedings
More confidential than public court hearings.
Cost Effective
Usually more efficient and less expensive than a full trial.
